Step beam, as we have mentioned before in our former article, which face looks like a step or "L" shape. For this structure of step beams in US teardrop pallet racking systems, waterfall pattern wire decks are especially suitable. This waterfall shape edge will cover some outside parts of step beams with additional stability and protection.
Standard waterfall wire deck with U shape channel is the most universal type used in step beams. A typical standard waterfall wire deck has 3 channels which rest on the step beams bearing loading capacity. Usually, the U shaped slot is upward welded. But sometimes, inverted channel is also used in food industry which can stop the dirt from accumulation for clean application.

Wire Mesh Decks Packages

Step1: Stacking wire decks together up to 2.4m making full utilization of the container's vertical space and and wrapped up with paper shells and plastic strips.
Step2: Using wooden pallets on the bottom for support, protection, an easy loading and unloading during shipping.
Step3: Covering the whole package unit with more stretch films, plastic banding and metal strips for final fixing and outside protection.
